of 2003, wInner signed a distribution agreement with a Spanish
company. This new company is constituted by the former IT Director of
a leading global provider in Hotel Technology and the former sales manager
of this company. Both of them reviewed the
wInner products, and were convinced that wInner is a professional and
high quality product. Planet wInner Spain will distribute exclusively
the wInner products for the Spanish market.
Already in 2003 Planet
wInner was contacted by Israel Cerro. With numerous years of IT experience in the Spanish
Hospitality Industry, Israel was interested to start his own business
selling and implementing IT solutions for the hospitality industry.
After the first
contact, Planet wInner met with Israel in Madrid, and gave a
detailed demonstration of the wInner products. Israel was impressed
with the possibilities of the wInner product range and became very
enthousiastic about his business. The global economic recession of
2002 - 2003 delayed the project, and finally, end of 2003, Israel
visited Brugge for negotiations. He was acompanied by his associate Pilar Nunez. Pilar too
was impressed with what she saw of wInner, and she will head the Sales
and Marketing activities for Planet wInner Spain. An exclusive
distribution agreement for the Spanish market was concluded in
December of 2003.
The Spanish market has
over 12.000 hotels, which means that Planet wInner Spain is an
important strategic step forward for the Planet wInner Company.
As we write this
article, wInner has already been translated into Spanish, and we are
carrying out developments to include the Spanish legal requirements
into the wInner product range.
